The Remodeling Process - from Contractor to Customer
When you choose SA Building & Remodeling, Co., to remodel your home, you can be assured that our team will work tirelessly to deliver a unique, customized solution to your remodeling needs.
Our team will work with you every step of the way to guarantee an end result that you are proud to call home. From start to finish, SA Building & Remodeling, Co., is committed to adding new life to your home.
Consultation
The first step in the remodeling process is to meet in your home and discuss the project in detail. Our consultant will assess your needs, wants, and desires. We will work with you to determine exactly what you expect from the remodel so we can provide a general budget range.
Design Discussion and Agreement Signing
Preliminary documents, including floor plans and elevations, will be created for you to visualize your finished remodel. These renderings also assist us in accurately preparing a project budget. We will present you with a Design Agreement, which outlines all costs. At this point, you can decide whether to enter into the Agreement and proceed with having the plans drawn up. There is a separate fee for this design work.
Drawings, Budget, and Construction Agreement Signing
We will create working drawings to begin your home's transformation. Once design plans have been approved, a walk-through is scheduled. With input from you and our trade associates, a budget will be prepared and presented to you with the Construction Agreement for signing. The Construction Agreement reflects a fixed cost for your remodel. If you wish to have the drawings modified, the Construction Agreement will be modified as well.
Preparation for Your Project
Once, both agreements have been signed, a start date will be determined and a preconstruction meeting will be scheduled with the production manager and designer. This meeting ensures that everyone understands exactly what needs to be done and that you know what to expect. We will also work with you on the selection of products to be used, as well as obtain necessary construction permits.
Your Project is Underway
Once, your project is underway, you will see firsthand the progress our team makes as it takes place. You will also have meetings with your production manager throughout construction to discuss the project, make final selections of finishes and fixtures, and discuss any questions or concerns you may have. Communication is the key to our successful working relationship!

For most of his life, Rudy Nino has been working in the family business. In his early teens, he began working summers full-time while attending school.
He served as past president of the HBA-Remodelers association and served on many board of directors.
In addition, Rudy participates in the Historical Commission in the Hill Country, Remodelers Roundtables and attends numerous seminars and trade shows each year.
